At What Age Did You Start Skating: I started when I was 3 years old, and did figure skating for the first three or four years. My dad thought you should be able to skate before having a stick in your hands.

How playing in the World Junior Championship helped raise his game:
"I think confidence-wise it was huge. It just helped me realize my ability. To make the team and make cuts over some really good players that could've been on the team too, it was big for me."
Areas of improvement: "Everything really. Strength is a big one for me, my shot. Just getting faster, stronger, making the right plays all the time and just trying to limit my mistakes."
