The three finalists include Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis./Univ. of Wisconsin), Jocelyne Lamoureux (Grand Forks, N.D./Univ. of North Dakota) and Florence Schelling (Oberengstringen, Switz./Northeastern Univ.). The winners of Friday's semfinal match-ups will compete on Sunday (March 18) for the NCAA championship ... The University of Wisconsin earned the No. 1 ranking for the ninth straight week ... The Western Collegiate Hockey Association has four ranked teams, while the Hockey East Association has three ranked teams and ECAC Hockey has two ranked teams. Mercyhurst is the only College Hockey America team ranked ... A total of 11 teams received votes.

The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the four NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
